I am a registered metacognitive therapist based in London and online. I specialise in helping people with addictive behaviours of all kinds, as well as anxiety issues, ADHD, and stress-related concerns.

Alongside my therapy practice, I run workplace workshops on resilience, self-care and wellbeing.

My goal is to help you relate to your thoughts, your behaviours and yourself in a more helpful, realistic and compassionate way. Change comes more easily with context and understanding.

Approach

I only use approaches which are rigorously grounded in the best research. These include metacognitive, behavioural and mindfulness-based techniques.

Experience

Before starting my private practice, I held roles in the prison system and the luxury private rehab sector. I am confident working with people from all backgrounds and have experience with a wide range of psychological issues, including both substance-based and behavioural addictions.

I developed a specialism on self-care, resilience and reflective practice and have a record of delivering groups and training.

Qualifications

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction in Addiction Psychology and Counselling, a Diploma in Metacognitive Therapy and a Drug and Alcohol Professional Certificate.

I am an Advanced Practitioner and Accredited Member of Addiction Professionals and a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am fully insured and receive regular clinical supervision.

I’m available to provide wellbeing support services to suit any team’s needs. This includes talks, workshops, groups and one-to-one work.

In addition, I am completing doctoral research in metacognition and addiction psychology to inform my work, teach counselling skills and provide supervision and reflective practice groups for staff at a pioneering Special Educational Needs school in East London.
